Have you already changed your Medicare plan through the Annual Election Period for Seniors? If you have not, it is important to keep in mind that you only have until December 7th!
The Annual Election Period allows you to make any changes to your Part D plan, or Medicare Advantage plan. The period also allows you to return to an Original Medicare plan. Any change that you decide to make during the Annual Election Period will take effect on January 1, 2015.
There are many changes that you can make to your Medicare health plan and your Part D prescription drug plans, including changing your deductibles, premiums, cost sharing, and certain benefits. You also have the option to completely discontinue your coverage all together. This is the best time to enroll in new coverage if your drug plan or health plan is ending at the end of the year!
